You’ve Got Mail: Korean Skin Care from My YesStyle Haul

YesStyle + Korean Skin Care - July 2015

For me, Mondays are one of the busiest days of the week. There are always plenty of emails to answer, data to analyze, and experiments to set up. Today was particularly miserable, as I was suffering from a lack of sleep and a terrible block in productivity. Needless to say, I couldn’t wait to get out of the office.

Luckily, I was able to leave early and beat rush hour traffic. To make things even better, my YesStyle order was waiting for me when I arrived back home! What a perfect stress reliever, right?! I love packages and snail mail.

I admittedly went a little bit crazy this month with YesStyle’s 9th Anniversary Sale. I meant to buy just a few pieces of clothing, then ended up adding these Korean skin care items to my cart:

  • Innisfree Green Tea Sleeping Pack (YesStyleInnisfree)
I’ve been wanting this sleeping pack for quite some time now! I opened up the jar already and it smells so good. I can’t wait to try it out tonight.
  • Innisfree No-Sebum Mineral Powder (YesStyle, Innisfree)
I think this little mint pot will be the perfect complement to my summer makeup routine. It’s basically the powder version of oil control paper.
  • Etude House Nutrifull Shea Butter Eye Cream (YesStyle)
I can’t seem to find this eye cream on the official Etude House website. Is it a discontinued product? That would explain why it’s 34% off on YesStyle right now… Looks like I have some research to do!

I’m really excited to try out these products. Please look forward to reading about them in upcoming Spa Sundays!

Note: I typically don’t buy skin care products on YesStyle as they tend to cost more; however, they do offer a good selection and free worldwide shipping for purchases over 35 USD. They also have sales, coupons, and promos from time to time.

    1. That’s a hard question! I like them all, but my favorite has to be the Innisfree Green Tea Sleeping Pack. It has little beads (“nutrition capsules”) that get absorbed as you massage your face. I think it’s such an awesome feature, and definitely the first time I’ve seen beads like that in a moisturizer.

  1. Omg I love the packaging on Korean skincare items. I really want to try the Innisfree Green Tea Sleeping Pack. Have you tried the water sleeping pack by Laneige? I’m just wondering how they compare.

    1. I do, too! They have such amazing product packaging.
I’m really loving the Innisfree Green Tea Sleeping Pack. I’ve been using it all week and it is definitely really hydrating. I have yet to try the Laneige one. I actually stare at it all the time whenever I’m at Target, so it’s surprising that I haven’t purchased it yet. Is that what you’re using right now? I’m currently using a Laneige cleanser, toner and emulsion, and those are all great!

      1. Yup that’s the one I’m using now 🙂 I pretty much just use it as a night time moisturizer. It smells heavenly! I’ll have to try the innisfree green tea one soon!

    1. I really love the sleeping pack! It’s incredibly moisturizing and doesn’t leave any residue. It also contains these little beads (“nutrition capsules”) that you have to massage into your face, which I think is super cool 🙂

    1. I love Etude House and Tony Moly! Tony Moly, especially, always has such cute packaging. What are your favorite products from those brands?
I have looked at Q-Depot before, but have not tried ordering from them. YesStyle offers free worldwide shipping for purchases US$35+, which really isn’t too hard to reach if you’re buying skin care/makeup 🙂
